A Celebration of Motherhood

Seemantham is a traditional Hindu ceremony, also known as a baby shower, performed in South India during the later stages of a woman's first pregnancy, typically in the 7th or 9th month. This ancient ritual, which is one of the 16 Hindu  (rites of passage), is meant to bless the expectant mother and her unborn child for a safe delivery and a healthy life.

Seemantham, the cherished South Indian baby shower, is a time of love, prayers, and celebration for the mother-to-be. Food plays an important role in this ceremony, symbolizing health, prosperity, and blessings for both mother and child. We specialize in preparing authentic vegetarian dishes served in the traditional style — on banana leaves, with the perfect balance of flavors and nourishment.

From age-old classics to modern comfort foods, we design a menu that respects tradition while ensuring every guest enjoys the meal. Our catering team handles everything — from kitchen preparation and live cooking counters to seating arrangements and professional service staff — so you can focus on the rituals and blessings.
