As a Delivery Boy, you play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders promptly, safely, and with excellent customer service. Your primary responsibility is to pick up food orders from the restaurant and deliver them to customers’ specified locations efficiently and courteously. This involves maintaining the quality and temperature of the food during transit by handling packages carefully and using appropriate delivery bags or containers. You are expected to navigate delivery routes effectively, using GPS or maps, to minimize delays and provide timely service, especially during busy hours or adverse weather conditions. In addition to delivery, you may be responsible for confirming order details with customers upon delivery, collecting payments when necessary, and providing friendly, professional interaction that represents the restaurant’s commitment to customer satisfaction. You must also follow safety and traffic regulations strictly to ensure your safety and that of others on the road. Besides delivery duties, you might assist with basic tasks in the restaurant such as packing orders, managing inventory for delivery supplies, or helping to maintain cleanliness in the delivery area.
