Dr Raveendran

Dr. R. Raveendran is a distinguished ophthalmologist with over four decades of expertise in eye care. He completed his MBBS in 1977 from Madurai Medical College, followed by a Diploma in Ophthalmology (D.O.) and an M.S. in Ophthalmology from Madurai Medical College.
He began his career as a consultant at Aravind Eye Hospital Chennai and later extended his expertise to Voluntary Health Services, Devaki Hospital Chennai , St. Isabel's Hospital, and Fortis Malar Hospital Chennai .
In 1986, Dr. Raveendran founded Udhi Eye Clinic, which later expanded into Udhi Eye Hospital Chennai in 2003. Under his visionary leadership, the hospital achieved NABH accreditation in 2012, becoming the first SHCO in Tamil Nadu to receive this prestigious recognition. Today, Udhi Eye Hospital continues to uphold the highest standards in eye care and has been further accredited as an NABH hospital, reinforcing its commitment to quality healthcare.
