Inspect incoming meat and seafood products for freshness, quality, and compliance with company standards.
Monitor temperature, hygiene, and storage conditions in processing and storage facilities.
Conduct regular quality audits during cutting, processing, and packaging stages.
Ensure adherence to FSSAI and other food safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of quality inspections and report any deviations.
Coordinate with suppliers to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Train staff on hygiene, food safety, and handling practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Fisheries Science, Animal Science, or related field.
Certification in Food Safety & Quality Management (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) is an added advantage.
2–4 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the meat or seafood industry.
Experience in cold chain management is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in cold storage environments.
Good communication and reporting skills.
